Zola Williams hails from Bowie, Maryland. She received her Bachelor in Fine Arts with a concentration in Ballet performance from The University of the Arts in 2008. Soon afterward, she began performing with the Las Vegas company of The Lion King which sat at Mandalay Bay from 2009 to 2011. Zola has also performed with the North American touring company of The Lion King on-and-off since 2012. As part of the Lion King, Zola was able to perform on Dancing with the Stars and the Daytime Emmys. 

After moving to Los Angeles, Zola assisted Stacey Tookey occasionally for seasons 10 and 12 of So You Think You Can Dance. Other gigs include the royal wedding in Dubai and Art On Ice in Switzerland. 

Movie credits include Ted 2, and Marvel’s Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War (as a Dora Milaje). If you watched the Super Bowl in 2018, you may have caught Zola in a Lexus commercial, also as a Dora Milaje. 

Zola is also a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher and a DJ!
